Repeat Prescriptions

Please allow 48 hours' notice when requesting a repeat prescription

Medication Reviews

Periodically, patients may be asked to see the Doctor for a review of their medication before continuation of their repeat prescription.  This is to ensure compliance and to ensure that patients are not taking medication unnecessarily.

IT IS THE PATIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT MEDICATION IS ORDERED IN GOOD TIME.

Prescriptions are issued attached to a receipt, which you should retain yourself and use to request your next prescription. It is this receipt, which enables us to identify your needs correctly and monitor the medicines being issued to you. If the prescription receipt says a consultation is necessary before the next request, be sure to make an appointment in good time.

We endeavour to try and make prescriptions available within 48 hours, however, we would ask that you allow up to 7 days in case there is a problem and we need to discuss your prescription with you. All local pharmacies offer a collection service. If you wish your prescription to be collected and dispensed by a particular pharmacist, please inform the pharmacist of your choice.

You may request your repeat prescriptions in the following ways:
